Valerie Rojas, LMHC
Our Relationship, Codependency, & Life Transitions Specialist
Valerie Rojas, MS, NCC
National Certified Counselor
Licensed Mental Health Counselor
The focus of Valerie’s work is guiding individuals and couples through healing and improving relationships, managing life transitions, processing past trauma, learning to cope with anxiety, setting healthy boundaries, and developing secure attachments.
Valerie’s approach to therapy is influenced by her background as a nurse’s aide, where she worked with terminally ill cancer patients to create harmony in their relationships, heal emotional wounds from past experiences and find meaning in their stories; as well as her work in Cambodia as a Peace Corps volunteer, where she worked in community development projects and learned, firsthand, the value of finding joy in our connection to others and the simple things in life that are entirely free.
As a Venezuelan immigrant, Valerie is fluent in Spanish and passionate about helping the Latinx community.
In her time off, Valerie likes to travel and explore new places and cultures as much as possible, and spend time with her family and her dogs, Sheldon, Nala, and Frodo.
