About the Tampa Relationship and Divorce Counseling Center

Tampa, FL, is one of the fastest-growing cities in the United States, attracting people eager to build careers, families, and new beginnings. For those of us who are already here—and for those moving to our city—all that growth and change can sometimes leave relationships feeling strained or uncertain. The Relationship and Divorce Counseling Center provides a space to navigate those changes, strengthen communication, and reconnect with what matters most.

Hi! My name is Linda Murphy. I founded the Relationship and Divorce Counseling Center in 2017 to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where individuals and couples can work through relationship challenges, whether that means improving communication, navigating a separation, or rebuilding confidence after a difficult breakup. My goal is always to help people gain clarity, strengthen self-awareness, and move forward with confidence in their relationships.

In 2021, Valerie Rojas, LMHC, joined the practice, bringing her deep empathy, compassion, and expertise in relationship dynamics. Valerie has a natural gift for helping clients feel safe, supported, and understood as they work through emotional pain and rediscover what connection and balance can feel like in their relationships.

Together, Valerie and I are dedicated to helping our clients heal and grow through every stage of their relationship journey. Through therapy for dating, couples counseling, and divorce counseling, we help clients strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and restore emotional closeness. Because when our relationships are in distress, every area of life feels harder, but when we begin to heal our relationships, we begin to heal ourselves.

Our Counseling Services

Individual Counseling

Life changes, breakups, and relationship challenges can leave you feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or uncertain about the future. In individual counseling, we offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can process your emotions, gain clarity, and reconnect with your sense of self. Using practical tools, compassionate insight, and proven approaches, we help you rebuild confidence, recognize relationship patterns, and create the fulfilling life you deserve.

Couples Counseling

Even loving relationships can face challenges with communication, trust, or intimacy. In couples counseling, we help partners reconnect, strengthen their emotional bond, and work through recurring conflicts in a constructive way. Through guidance, exercises, and open dialogue, we support couples in rebuilding trust, improving understanding, and cultivating a deeper sense of connection.

Divorce Counseling

Divorce or separation is rarely just a legal process—it’s an emotional and deeply personal journey. In divorce counseling, we provide a safe and supportive space to process your feelings, make sense of the changes in your life, and begin healing. Together, we’ll work on managing difficult emotions, setting healthy boundaries, and rediscovering your sense of direction and strength as you move forward.

Whether you’re seeking clarity, connection, or closure, we’re here to support you. Schedule a consultation today to start your journey toward healing and restoring balance in your relationships and in your life.

You are not alone, relationship counseling can help.

Relationships can be complicated, and challenges often leave us feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or stuck. Whether you are experiencing ongoing difficulties in a current relationship or navigating a breakup or divorce, it is common to wonder if something is wrong with you or worry that you will never find the connection you are looking for. Relationship struggles can stir up grief, anxiety, or self-doubt, and it can be hard to know where to turn for support.

Even in otherwise loving partnerships, patterns of miscommunication, loss of trust, or challenges with intimacy can make day-to-day life feel heavy and frustrating. Individual counseling can help you better understand yourself, your needs, and your relationship patterns so you can feel more confident and connected in all your relationships. Couples counseling offers a supportive space to work through conflicts, rebuild emotional closeness, and strengthen communication so partners can move forward together in a healthier, more fulfilling way.

At the Relationship and Divorce Counseling Center, we understand how relationship challenges can affect every part of your life. Whether you are healing after a breakup or divorce, navigating conflict in a current relationship, or simply wanting guidance to improve connection and communication, We provide compassionate support, practical tools, and insight to help you move forward with clarity, confidence, and hope.
